To Evenstar.
These past few months have been really hectic, but so, so rewarding. I’ve never felt so good before in my college career, in terms of being on top of things and really just having all that hard work pay off in the end. As the quarter is coming to an end, and then that one last quarter before sophomore year of college is over, I start to reflect on life here in the dorms.
I’ve met some of the friendliest, brightest, most care-free, fun-loving, adventurous, generous, and talented people, here. The fact that there is always someone there to lend a shoulder or a listening ear never ceases to amaze me. The fact that everyone is so different in personality and interests, yet we all share a common bond, be it activities such as boardgames or sports, or our need to excel academically, makes me smile. Self-cooking and washing dishes, as well as doing laundry, are a hassle, but there’s always someone around to talk to while you’re doing your tasks. Best yet, when you feel stressed out, like you’re going to die due to lack of sleep— when papers, midterms and 8am classes tire you out til the point of exhaustion, there is always someone there who really cares. This is something I am going to miss indescribably come next year… and even though things will be different, I hope we all still retain our enthusiasm, hard-work, and love of life, because that’s what I love soso much about you guys!
Thanks for everything!
